NOTICE OF A PUBLIC MEETING FOR THE WILDOMAR GENERAL PLAN UPDATE PROJECT

Public Meeting:
Notice is hereby given that a Public Meeting/Workshop has been scheduled before
the City of Wildomar Planning Commission on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 beginning at 6:00 PM in the
Wildomar City Council Chambers located at 23873 Clinton Keith Road, Suite #105/106,
Wildomar, CA 92595 to discuss the City of Wildomar General Plan Update as described below.

Description: In April 2022,
the City kicked off a comprehensive update of the City’s General Plan (GP)
known as “Envision Wildomar 2040: Future By Design”. As the first comprehensive
update of the GP since incorporation in 2008, there are important challenges,
opportunities, and emerging trends that will be addressed that will enable the
GP to be an effective tool in guiding and ensuring that the future of our
community conforms to the visions and aspirations of Wildomar’s residents. The
primary goal of updating the General Plan is to ensure that it reflects the
values of the community, identifies the community’s vision for the City in the
future, and provides a roadmap to achieve that vision. To this end, City staff and PlaceWorks (consultant
team) will provide the Planning Commission with a background discussion on the general
plan advisory group meetings, tasks/activities, public outreach efforts,
including our community workshops and surveys, with major focus on presenting
the preferred land use plan and circulation plan as a result of the public
outreach efforts. This meeting is open
to the general public and you are encouraged to come and participate. For more details on the city’s General Plan

Any
person may submit written comments to the Planning Commission before the
hearing or may appear and be heard in support of, or opposition to, the
proposed project at the time of hearing.
If you challenge the project in court, you may be limited to raising
only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in
this notice, or in written correspondences delivered to the City Clerk at, or
prior to, the meeting. The April 19,
