Hello, Wildomar!
It's that time of year that is full of American pride; which typically means backyard barbecues with family and friends, pool parties and just generally enjoying the freedoms our country has worked so hard to protect.

We hope you have a very safe and fun 4th of July - however, PLEASE no fireworks. They are illegal in Wildomar and in all of Riverside County. We live in an extremely-high fire zone and we have many veterans in our area that may suffer PTSD issues that the firework noise can trigger. Not to mention, it is animal control's busiest holiday as our furry friends get terrified and become escape artists.

There are many fireworks shows in Riverside County so that you can enjoy the beautiful display in a safe environment - both Temecula and Lake Elsinore will be hosting fireworks events on Monday at 9:00 pm.

If you need information on ways to better connect with us, please reach out to me, my colleagues on City Council or Kimberly Davidson our Economic Development Director & Public Information Officer ([email protected]).
#GoWildomar

Sincerely,

Mayor Ben J. Benoit
