Wildomar's Monthly Newsletter                                 June 24, 2021

Hey Wildomar,
As we head into the July 4th holiday, I always reflect back on my time in the Marine Corps and how important this holiday is to me and how important it SHOULD be to everyone. We are a proud and honorable country and very unique in so many ways.  President Ronald Reagan said it best, “America is a shining city upon a hill whose beacon light guides freedom-loving people everywhere.”

I would really like to encourage everyone to celebrate responsibly and without the use of fireworks in the city.  We are surrounded by hills of dry brush and fireworks are just such a fire hazard, I would hate to see anything bad happen to any of our residents or their property.  Also, remember to bring your pets inside.   It is one of the busiest days for Animal Control as our beloved pets get scared and find new ways to escape. Please have a fun, safe and responsible 4th of July!

I really hope you find this newsletter useful and I encourage suggestions to be sent to me ([email protected]) and/or our Economic Development Director, Kimberly Davidson ([email protected]).

#GoWildomar

Sincerely,
Mayor Dustin Nigg

Yes, we will be back to “in-person” at Wildomar City Hall soon! In our effort to make City Hall as pandemic-safe and business-friendly as possible, we have taken this “shut-down” time as an opportunity to redo City Hall! Same location, but we will now be downstairs with appropriate safety measures and new customer service procedures in place.

Please join us for our Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting just before our Council Meeting on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at 5:00 pm! (23873 Clinton Keith Rd, 1st Floor).

Some of our meetings at City Hall and around town are starting to open back up to the public again. As we do this, we ask that you adhere to safety guidelines per the organization you are visiting. Each business, organization or agency can require you to continue wearing a mask if you want to attend an event or patronize a business (think, "No Shoes, No Shirt, No Service"). Please be a good neighbor and let's get through this safely together!
We attended the All Chamber MEGA Mixer on June 17th at Storm Stadium. It was the first in-person event since the "shut-down" and everyone was very eager to get back out there to network! 100-degree heat didn't stop people from coming to our booth to learn about Wildomar and our business opportunities! #GoWildomar
