During the month of August, the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station, City of Wildomar, along with the assistance of Social Workers Action Group (SWAG), a non-profit agency, was able to assist 2 individuals with ending their cycles of homelessness through our homeless outreach program.

  1. Female 44 years agreed to be housed at a local shelter.

  2. Male 37 years agreed to be housed at a local shelter.

  3. 17 individuals volunteered to receive mental health services.

There were 71 engagements with homeless individuals through our outreach.  Only the above individuals received the assistance to end their cycle of homelessness.  The Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station takes great pride in reaching out to individuals and assisting them with ending their cycle of homelessness.  These individuals will have the opportunity to receive additional services to assist them with permanent housing, substance abuse education, financial education and job placement.  We wish them the best of luck as they traverse the path toward improving their lives.

If you see or know of anyone needing assistance, please call the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station, Problem Oriented Policing Team at (951) 245-3300.
