Planning Commission Appointment

Applications are being accepted for one vacancy on the Planning Commission.  This vacancy will be appointed by Councilman Ben J. Benoit.  The term of office will run concurrent with Councilman Benoit, with said term expiring November, 2022. Planning Commissioners are nominated by the appointing Council Member and then must receive a majority ratification (at least 3 affirmative votes) from the entire Council.  Planning Commissioners are appointed at-large and not by district.

Applicants must meet the following requirements (Wildomar Municipal Code Chapter 2.24), no exceptions:

1.  Members of the Commission shall be residents of the City and shall be qualified electors (registered to vote) within the City.

2.  Each member shall be a resident of the City for the year immediately preceding the inception of his or her term.

3.  No member of the Commission may be an employee or officer of the City.
